Solution:
Set DIP switches 1, 3, 4 to ON.
Set DIP switch 2 to OFF.
Use HyperTerminal or another terminal program to confirm passage of data through the converter. * Suggestion for Win 7 would be Hercules (Click on the Serial tab--Type charaters into the Send text box--Click Send--If you only see Pink it is not a goodloopback, if you see pink and black it is a good loopback. http://new.hwg.cz/files/download/sw/version/hercules_3-2-8.exe
