Solution:
The VESP211 and VESP211-232 have handshake lines CD ( carrier Detect pin 1) and RI( Ring Indicator pin 9 ) held in the asserted state, when used in VCOM mode. Internally the CD and RI pins are held in the asserted state. These lines are not controllable, but default to this high state. If customers need to use these lines, they can try the ESP901 in VCOM Mode. This converter allows active use of pin 1 and pin 9 CD and RI.
