How do I select the appropriate channel range and band for my AIrborne Access Point? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
The APMN and APXN can use either 2.4 or 5 GHz bands/radios.
This is determined by which channel is selected (1-14 2.4GHz, 34-196 5GHz)
Usage: wl-chan [Integer]an ? Configures the wireless interface channel number. The channel number is only applicable in AdHoc or Access Point mode. Some channels are restricted in certain countries. OEMs must use only unrestricted channels. Channel range is 1 - 14 for 802.11b/g, 34 - 196 for 802.11a. Default is 1.
Note: The unit can only run at 2.4GHz OR 5GHz. It cannot run both simultaneously.
