Are there plans from carriers that keep traffic on a private network and don’t touch the internet?
Solution:
Yes, but typically it is required that you have a dedicated port (wireline) at the headend. AT&T has Commerical Connectivity Service which provides a few ways to do this through Network VPN (NVPN) to tie into an existing ATT VPN (AVPN) or provide a private Access Point Names (larger networks) that route, segment and isolate the traffic. Sprint has Datalink services which pushes all traffic in a set domain to a port on an MPLS network. There is an opportunity in that it is difficult for the cloud platforms to manage these types of connections as they need an open port to access the data. Our VPN's are more easily managed directly so you can have control of them like any other appliance based Layer 3 VPN's.
