Can the Spectre 3G Router be provisioned more than once on Verizon? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
If the Spectre 3G Router is provisioned more than once we will need to send a command to the Router to do another OTA(over the air) activation. Through the GUI, confirm that the Primary SIM card is populated with something other than Generic UMTS. Set to the carrier chosen. Steps: Telnet into device. Once at the shell prompt (command line) type the following command “gsmat ATD*22899;” ,then press enter. It may take a minute or so but the router should then go out and do another OTA activation and connect. If you you went from having Dynamic Public IP addresses to Public Static IP addresses the APN will most likely change.
