Jumper setting for FSB rating is necessary for PCA-6005 Rev.B1 | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
Because PCA-6005 Rev.B1 series can not automatically detect Front Side Bus rating for CPU and DDR memory combination, you'll have to switch suitable setting manually for this combination. Otherwise, system will work in wrong CPU speed. This will be easy for you to see wrong CPU speed shown at BIOS POST stage.
Here is a simple instruction to set up the rating manually on PCA-6005 Rev.B.
1. Please check the suitable FSB rating of your CPU first. You may visit Intel web site to view the FSB rating of your CPU.

2. Confirm the base frequency of your DDR RAM.
2. Refer to PCA-6005-B users manual. The setting information is shown in section 1.8.2. Please switch it to the suitable setting for your CPU and RAM.
