Solution:

Issue: MIC-3369 is a hot-swappable CPCI CPU board. When inserted in system slot of Intel chassis ZT-5090, it boots ok. But if it is inserted in peripheral slot without host board, the hot-swap blue led will light up, and cannot boot. Root cause: We found Intel’s CMM (chassis management module) in ZT-5090 only controls the system slot power on/off by making BD_SEL# signal ground. This is the reason why MIC-3369 cannot boot in peripheral slot without host board. Solution: The solution to boot MIC-3369 in peripheral slot without host board is a Jumper setting. The jumper setting is used to ground BD_SEL# without controlled by CMM. You can find the jumper setting in manual of chassis.
